Statement of Faith

We Believe:

God is the Creator of the universe. (Gen. 1-2)

There is one true God, who is infinitely perfect. (Deut. 6:4; Matt. 5:48)

The Trinity of the Godhead: God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit. (Matt. 28:19)

The Holy Bible is the complete, infallible, and inspired Word of God. It is our final and absolute authority. (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20)

By nature, man is sinful and in need of Salvation, which is a gift of Grace found through faith in Jesus Christ and the shedding of His blood. Those who repent and believe in Him are born again of the Holy Spirit, receive the gift of eternal life, and become the children of God. But the unrepentant and unbelieving will exist forever in torment, separated from God. (Romans 3:23-24; Eph. 2:8; John 11:25-26; 1 John 3; Revelation 21:8)

Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. (Luke 1:34-38)

Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. (Phil. 2:6-11)

The Holy Spirit fills all true believers to encourage and empower them to separate them from sin and the ways of the world and be fully dedicated to becoming more like Jesus. (Titus 3:4-8; 1 Thess. 5:23; Acts 1:8)

Jesus Christ rose from the dead and ascended into Heaven. (Acts 4:33; 1 Peter 1:3)

The Biblical model of family is a husband and a wife united in legal marriage, along with their children (including biologial, adopted, foster, or stepchildren). We also recognize the single parents or grandparents lead some families. Homosexual marriages or lifestyles are contrary to Scripture and the intentions of God in creation. (Gen. 1:26-28; James 1:27; Ephesians 5:22-23; Romans 1:18-32)

The mission of the church is to preach the good news of Jesus Christ to every nation and provide and serve those who do go. (Matt. 28:19; 3 John 6-8; Mark 6:31)

In the literal return of Christ back to earth: first to receive His Bride (true believers), then to judge the world. (1 Cor. 15:20-24; John 5:28-29)
